Currency is the only resource in the game. You spend it on Cells, Units, unit moves, and unit actions.

Earning

Every 5 minutes, each player gets a tick of income made of:

  • Base stipend: 10 / tick
  • Cell income: 1 / tick per owned cell

Income is capped at 1000 total currency held — past the cap, ticks don’t add anything.

AFK decay

Income scales with how recently you’ve been active:

So an idle account stops earning entirely after a day. Log in to reset the timer.

Maintenance

Owning units drains currency every tick. See each unit’s stat block for upkeep cost. If your maintenance exceeds your income you’ll bleed currency over time.
